Lead Generation Executive

Overall purpose
Contact national and multi-national businesses, qualifying their local and international transport needs in the corporate, financial roadshow and events sectors, generating quote opportunities and setting appointments for the sales team.
Main responsibilities
  • Research and manage lead lists that are created for you, and develop lead lists yourself
  • Research to understand and qualify leads, assess if there is an opportunity, churn leads and move on to new ones regularly
  • Contact key decision makers in a variety of business sectors
  • Proactively cold call prospects and past clients
  • Follow up on initial contacts
  • Setting up and confirming appointments with the correct decision maker
  • Fully utilize Salesforce CRM, logging all activities, tasks, leads and opportunities
  • Working closely with the sales team
  • Provide support to other areas of the business, when required
  • Adhere to sales performance guidelines and KPI’s
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for review by manager
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
Skills required
  • Proven sales ability
  • Professional telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Target driven and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar – CRM an advantage
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and related sectors would be a distinct advantage
Other responsibilities
  • Highly developed communication skills, particularly verbal
  • Ability to listen to clients needs, knowing when to be a friendly, persuasive and enthusiastic talker
  • Self motivated, responsible, goal oriented – able to set, be set, meet daily, weekly and monthly goals
  • Willingness to use the telephone as the primary contact tool
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
