IT Support Technician

Hours
40-hour working week (flexible working policy in place)
Overall purpose
To provide excellent support to TBR staff across the world (with a key focus on the Asia Pacific region) in the use of IT equipment, systems and software and resolving associated faults or issues.
Main responsibilities
  • Provide first and second line IT support (usually remotely or sometimes in person) to employees and other internal customers, to ensure a great experience for all users
  • Support users of Windows 10 desktop and laptop computers
  • Support users of iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Support TBR’s primary working tools, particularly Office365
  • Use existing processes to perform standard duties including:

Preparing new computers

On and off-boarding staff

Occasional hardware repairs and upgrades

Skills required
  • Fantastic customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine desire to support a diverse group of users across a wide range of scenarios, from basic password resets through to mid-level troubleshooting of software or hardware issues
  • Solid experience of Windows 10 desktop support and administration, both remote and on site
  • Solid experience of supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android) in typical scenarios, such as setting up email
  • Basic ability to use existing PowerShell scripts for automated processes (plugging in variables, running scripts and evaluating the output)
  • Experience of administering the Active Directory for user / group management
  • Experience of administering Office 365 including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
  • A self-starting attitude and willingness to learn through trial and error when required
