Entry Level HR Administration Support

Overall purpose
You will play an active role within the HR team, providing effective administration support to managers and employees within our Boston office. This role would ideally be suited to someone who is keen to progress in HR and further their career in this area. In this role, you will be resourceful with excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day HR issues locally
  • Manage HR administration correspondence (internal & external)
  • Administration and data input for all employees benefits, with appropriate follow up
  • Provide base level support to Managers on labor laws, discipline / grievances within the Boston office
  • Support the recruitment and administration involved of new hires, covering all aspects of the recruitment cycle from authorization, advertising, dealing with agencies, interviews and job offers
  • Support in the induction and on boarding for new starters
  • Implement and improve policies, procedures and processes
  • Keep up-to-date with local labor laws and communicate changes affecting TBR
  • Full administration behind company benefits such as health insurance, 401K, dental, life insurance, disability insurance and ongoing support and communication to all employees on any changes that may affect them
  • Process administration paperwork for new starters, leavers, sickness, appraisals and 401K Plan
  • Provide ad-hoc project support within the wider HR team, when appropriate
  • Be an active member of our global People’s Voice committee
Other responsibilities

Professional qualifications: 

  • Degree educated in HR field or qualified through demonstrable experience of working with HR

Required skills:

  • Understanding of the principles and functions of Human Resources within a HR department, and a willingness to build on that knowledge
  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels
  • Excellent working knowledge of US employment law and regulations is expected
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in Human Resources and how it fits into all areas of the business
  • Relevant administrative experience
  • Ability to deliver a high accuracy return on tasks completed with minimal supervision and demonstrates strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficient
