Corporate Account Executive

Full time (40 hours per week, Mon – Fri)
Overall purpose
To effectively account manage clients and work within the Corporate travel team, booking reservations and upselling TBR products and services.
Main responsibilities
  • Process and manage incoming email / phone reservations and amendments in a correct manner and in line with clients SLA
  • Advise clients on feasibility of schedules and check for discrepancies
  • Follow up on any missing information, to fully complete each booking
  • Provide quotes, as and when required
  • Follow up quotes to maximise conversion
  • Record incident reports in the system
  • Conduct regular customer review calls
  • Assist in completing sales projects, including proposals and marketing
  • Keep the CRM system up to date
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients and suppliers
  • Resolve client issues, both during and post-event
  • Inform the sales team of account progress and arising issues
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as and when assigned
  • Write detailed handovers for night shift / weekend staff, when applicable
Skills required
  • Strong organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving targets in an IS environment inside sales experience
  • Experience of working within a similar industry advantageous but not essential
  • Sales experience in inside sales environment desirable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages – a high level of working knowledge of MS Excel is essential
  • Capable of working towards and achieving deadlines
  • Fluency in a second language is desirable
  • Strong self confidence
  • Negotiation skills
