Corporate Business Development Manager

Overall purpose
With an ambitious growth strategy in place, this newly created role will be instrumental to support in growing sales within our Corporate service line. Working closely with our Head of Sales, EMEA you will have responsibility for client acquisition and winning new business, with a focus on top end corporate customers and how our brand and service benefits is the right solution for their transport needs. You will be expected to identify new leads, pitch to clients, negotiate and maintain an extensive knowledge of current market trends to improve TBR’s overall market share.
Main responsibilities
  • Identify valuable emerging markets
  • Seek out regional clients who require global services and cultivate relationships to drive global bookings from key accounts
  • Identify opportunities and build a network of new business within the corporate sector
  • Manage and retain a small portfolio of clients, where appropriate
  • Identify potential customers and key decision makers
  • Research within the industry to identify market trends
  • Handle objections by clarifying agreements and quickly resolving service issues
  • Pitch to clients the service benefits of TBR
  • Attend and network at key industry trade shows / events
  • Identify opportunities for sales campaigns or services that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Liaise with regional managers and wider sales teams, to maximise success
Skills required

Professional qualifications

  • MBA / degree qualified or equivalent (preferred)
  • Diploma in strategic sales and account management or equivalent (preferred)


  • Proven track record of selling, ideally within service delivery
  • Implementation and utilisation of software CRM system for sales tracking
  • Managed budgets
  • Proven track record of client retention
  • Successful record both as a commercial leader and sole contributor
  • Operated in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Travel industry experience is preferable
