The People Behind the Journey: Meet Delaney MacKay!

Since joining TBR Global Chauffeuring full-time in January 2024, Delaney MacKay has quickly become a trusted member of the operations team. As a Reservations Coordinator, she plays a key role in managing ground transportation logistics, supporting event execution, and ensuring clear communication between clients and drivers. She’s been part of the company for 18 months now, and in that time has developed a strong reputation for her ability to stay organized, think on her feet, and keep clients informed and reassured every step of the way.

Delaney was drawn to TBR for the opportunity to begin her professional career with a company that operates on a global scale and thrives in a fast-paced environment. From the start, she embraced the challenges that came with that pace. Over time, she’s gained confidence navigating high-pressure situations and has sharpened her communication skills through direct client interaction and real-time service coordination.

One of the standout moments in her time at TBR so far was supporting a high-end luxury retail event held across both London and New York. Managing a high volume of transportation for VIP guests across multiple cities required extreme attention to detail, tight coordination, and the ability to respond quickly when plans changed. It was a major learning experience and gave Delaney a deep appreciation for the speed and precision this job demands.

When asked how she helps ensure smooth coordination in such a fast-moving environment, Delaney points to communication and flexibility. The team relies on shared schedules, internal messaging tools, and regular check-ins to stay aligned. Things can shift quickly, and being able to adapt and respond in real time is essential to maintaining the level of service clients expect.

Delaney’s commitment to teamwork is evident in how she talks about the people around her. She recalls moments when the team came together under pressure, like a last-minute request to accommodate a large group in Hawaii, when transportation availability was tight. The team explored every option, secured full coverage, and even arranged a complimentary upgrade to ensure a comfortable experience for every passenger. During major events, she says, some team members are on the ground overseeing service in person, while the rest support from afar, managing increased demands and maintaining seamless communication behind the scenes.

Technology and structure play a big role in how Delaney approaches her work. She and her team rely on tools like real-time tracking and shared manifests to keep operations efficient. Internal communication channels and consistent note-taking help everyone stay informed and reduce confusion, ensuring every ride meets the same high standard.

In July, Delaney will step into a new role as Sales Support Coordinator, continuing to grow within the company. With her strong foundation in reservations and deep understanding of operations, she will bring a unique perspective to the sales team and serve as a valuable connection between departments. Her experience coordinating complex service requests and her commitment to excellence make her an ideal fit for this next chapter.

Delaney graduated from Bryant University in 2024 with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. We’re proud to celebrate her accomplishments and look forward to seeing her continue to thrive in her new role.
