TBR touch down in Japan for the Rugby World Cup

Our major events team are now officially on the ground in Tokyo to cater for the upcoming sporting events in Japan, kicking off with next week’s Rugby World Cup 2019.

This is an exciting time for TBR and is the culmination of a year of hard college essay work and preparation, from site visits at stadiums situated across the length and breadth of Japan to meticulous strategic planning with international agencies, to deliver the best service that we possibly can.

Over the course of the past month, our team have been undergoing training to ensure preparations are in place for the large-scale event, which will be covering a significantly large geographical spread with sites dotted across Japan.

Our new Tokyo pop up office, situated in the Shinbashi district, will also play host to our major events team for the period of the tournament and beyond, as straight after the Rugby World Cup ends planning will begin for our work at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Stuart Campbell, our on-site Event Manager, recently spoke about the planning measures that TBR undertake for these large-scale sporting events, which you can read more about here.

Over the course of the tournament and beyond, we will be posting regular updates over on our Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn so please do give us a follow if you would like to find out more about our work on the ground.

Good luck to everybody involved in the event and we look forward to seeing you all in Japan!

Find out more about our work in action over on the ‘What we do’ section of our website and get in touch with a member of our team today, to discuss how we can support you with your ground transportation solutions.
