Corporate Social Responsibility

Rather than just passively acknowledging its corporate and social obligations, TBR actively seeks ways to improve the environment and the social and economic stability of its businesses. As a global Chauffeur company we are acutely aware of our footprint. This only bolsters our efforts to meet and surpass best practice guidelines, through:

  • Understanding and monitoring the health, safety and welfare of all of our employees and their families
  • Investing in the personal and professional development of all of its employees
  • Maintaining and building on our relationship with the local community
  • Actively supporting charitable and socially responsible activities both inside and outside the work environment
  • Improving our performance in environmental and waste management
  • Utilising the latest vehicle emission technologies available and constantly modernising our fleets.

To achieve these aims, we will:

  • Maintain our commitment to equal opportunities in employment
  • Continue to develop and nurture relations with local communities and schools
  • Develop our support for local and national charitable activities undertaken by our employees
  • Continuously improve health and safety, environmental management and social responsibility issues, establishing targets and revising objectives
  • Fully implement and monitor our Health & Safety Policy Statement in line with current Health & Safety legislation and current codes of practice
  • Fully implement and monitor our Environmental Policy Statement, including recycling in line with current environmental legislation and relevant codes of practice
  • Communicate these requirements to employees and ensure that adequate training is provided to fulfil them
  • Ensure that adequate resources are made available to implement the requirements
  • Annually review legislation and align our policy accordingly
