It is with great pleasure to announce; our major global events team was awarded MICE Team of the Year at the prestigious Business Travel People Awards 2019.
Every year the Business Travel People Awards recognise the outstanding individuals and teams within and across all aspects of the supplier element of business travel management; showcasing those who excel amongst their peers and drive business excellence in all capabilities.
The major events service line was only launched in early 2018 and was derived through the acquisition of a major contract from the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO). Having never managed something to such scale, TBR made the decision to build a high-level team to ensure its successful delivery. The team has displayed innovation from its inception and continues to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the event industry.
This industry recognition is testament to the team’s continuous drive for success from its formation last year. Gaining momentum from the outstanding project delivery of the FCO programme, the team has never ceased pursuing new opportunities and executing large-scale projects to an exemplary service standard.

The major global events team is currently finalising preparations for upcoming large-scale projects including the Rugby World Cup 2019 and 2020 Summer Olympic in Tokyo. Read more about this expansion into the Japanese market here.
