Driving excellence… across the brand experience

Bespoke, memorable brand experiences are an imperative now more than ever and is something that has been gathering pace for some time, with there being no signs of it slowing down.

As customer needs evolve, so too do the demands on travel bookers, suppliers, TMC’s and more, to deliver premium, memorable travel experiences. Evolving demands mean travel bookers have even more considerations to make when coordinating a clients’ ground transportation solution. These range from tight time schedules, complex logistics, to supplier management and cancelled or rescheduled travel plans. Every element and detail of the journey must be considered by the booker, to ensure the continuous delivery of customer excellence.

In addition to this, a TMC and its bookers increasingly want the ability to offer clients complete end-to-end journey management in a centralised system, which can be achieved through the successful integration with other ground transportation partners. Naturally, a booker will only consider a ground transportation service provider with an established partnership and reputation with their TMC. However, TMC’s must maintain a range of offerings, as it is a consumer-led market and it is this market that will dictate both price and quality fundamentals.

Advances in technology have significantly enhanced bookers and end users lives, helping to overcome these challenges. The proliferation of apps and instant booking tools mean that companies can satisfy and meet passengers needs across several touchpoints, through new technologies such as Big Data, machine learning and AI. These innovations are driving hyper-personalisation and operational excellence on a scale that we have never really witnessed before. We are very much at the start of this journey and look forward to seeing how advances in technology will further enhance transport solutions.
