Rugby World Cup 2019

In 2019, TBR managed the complex ground transportation and international staffing requirements for three leading clients for the Rugby World Cup. An eight-month strategic planning operation was undertaken by three key personnel of TBR’s major events team. Highlighting its commitment to the large-scale project, TBR hired a multi-lingual Japanese operational expert, to oversee the project’s preparations on-the-ground from January 2019.

The live operation spanned across ten cities and required 69 days on-site, covering 48 matches. The expert project team sourced and managed over 90 local and international on-the-ground staff and expertly delivered over 500 arrivals and departures as well as 300+ match day transfers.
