NATO Leaders’ Summit 2019

In early 2019, a UK government agency sought an experienced partner to deliver the ground transportation requirements for NATO’s 70th anniversary celebrations in London.

From August, TBR began a four-month strategic preparation process, sourcing and securing an appropriate supply chain and experienced event professionals to ensure the programme’s successful delivery.

Over 350 chauffeurs were initially recruited for accreditation purposes, with over 250 utilised to cover the core driver pool to engage in the service requirements as well as the facilitation of contingency necessary on-site. From the planning stages through to on-site execution, the team of two, grew to over 70 at its peak on-site; comprising work stream managers plus their support teams, senior management, venue load zone teams spread throughout key locations, IT infrastructure professionals and vehicle valeters.

Due the meticulous planning, expert team and fully scalable system, utilising a 180+ vehicle fleet, including MPVs, sedans, sprinter coaches and full-sized coaches, TBR seamlessly delivered over 1,800 movements across a 5-day event programme.
