G7 Summit 2021

In January 2021, the hosting body of the summit sought an experienced partner to deliver the ground transportation requirements for the 47th Annual Group of Seven (G7) Summit in Cornwall. The project scope called for the planning, resourcing and on-site operational management of all movements of 12 heads of state and their accompanying partners, 300 official delegates, 1,000 media personnel and nearly 1,500 members of staff.

In April, TBR was successful in the acquisition of this contract and began a three-month strategic preparation process sourcing an apt supply of vehicles and experienced chauffeurs as well as an experienced ground transportation management team.

An on-the-ground team of over 100 event personnel and 381+ chauffeurs and coach drivers delivered 16,000+ movements across a six-day live event programme, coordinating, and managing a fleet 250+ vehicles, comprising MPVs, luggage vans, golf buggies and various sized coaches.
