Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018

In April 2018, the UK hosted the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), welcoming leaders from 53 countries to London and Windsor for five days to address shared global challenges and agree actions on how to create a better future for the Commonwealth.

TBR Global Chauffeuring was named as the official ground transportation partner for CHOGM in December by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), with the major events team dedicating a three-strong high-level team to work on the project full-time from January onwards.

From one week prior to the event, there were 56 TBR staff members on-site to support the fleet management and logistics in over 70 event venues. Across the five-day event, TBR expertly executed the entire ground transportation programme, managing the movements of all VIPs, delegates, media and FCO staff, utilising over 460 premium vehicles – including coaches, MPVs, Jaguar Land Rovers, vans and golf buggies – and 500+ specially trained drivers.
